Phosphoric acid

Phosphoric acid is one of the food additives. It is used as acidifier and yeast nutrient in food. It is contained in Coca-Cola. Phosphates are also important food additives and can be used as nutritional enhancers. Phosphoric acid is an important chemical raw material. Its main functions are as follows. 1.To treat metal surfaces, form insol- uble phosphate film on the metal surface to protect the metal from corrosion.2.Mixed with nitric acid as a chemi- cal polish to improve the surface finish of metals.3. Phosphate as raw material for the production of detergents and pesti- cides. 4. Raw Materials for Producing phos- phorous flame retardant.
